As we all know little bit about Vastu, but do you really understand

What does it really mean?

What does it mean to our lives?

Vastu is an ancient science of architecture that is used to balance all 5 elements in the living space. People were aware about doing vastu. As they have seen things going better after following vastu principles. Vastu is not a rocket science that is difficult to understand or apply in space. It is small changes that we have to make in our living space according to direction. Now you might be thinking why so? Let me introduce VASTU PURUSH MANDALA. It is a grid on a plot. To stop vastu’s purush of destroying everything through Brahma ji’s suggestion all devtas lay him down forcefully to control his anger. The body parts layed on the plot area are influenced by the devta who is controlling that part of the body. If there is any defect in any direction or any disbalance in energy flow it affects accordingly. It is not only the one, the individual’s birth chart also has a role in vastu consultancy. Yes, its true vastu and kundli both play an equal role in making your environment positive or negative. A Vastu consultant is a person who can help you in solving your vastu problems, if any. Vastu consultants of Delhi provide Astro-vastu services. They hold the hands of their client until their project does not get done, in other words they have total association with the clients till all their work gets done. Vastu is very simple but not easy. You must have faith in it otherwise if there is doubt in your mind regarding it, it will never satisfy you ever. Everyone can maintain vastu principles by doing little effort in their daily routine. These are some steps you should follow in your daily routine:

   Entrance: Always keep your entrance clutter free to invite the abundance. Don’t keep any type of shoe stand there and also don’t place any idol outside the door or inside the door. Place positive symbols at the entrance door. Also remember you must have the entrance door in a favourable direction otherwise you need to consult with an expert.

   Living room: After entrance, the living room is the next step. Keep it clutter free and well organized. Add some indoor plants to enhance the aura of the space towards the North direction. Place furniture towards the south wall of the room. Be careful about hanging any photo frame it must be of some positive symbols or quotes or scenery. Keep your north and east wall light weighted and clutter free.

   Bedroom: Next is the bedroom. Always prefer having a plain ceiling in the bedroom and there must be no beam or cut above the bed. Bed head should be towards South, West or East but not North. Don’t place pic of idols or ancestors in the bedroom. Place the ancestor’s photo in the living area. One more thing: don’t place a mirror in such a way that your image reflects on it while sleeping. It may create health issues. Bedroom must be in the south or south west direction. If you have a bedroom in another direction then you need to check with an expert whether it is in the correct direction or not.

   Kitchen: It is the place from where everyone gets fuel to live, meaning food. Kitchen must be in the SE direction. Burner must be in such a direction that one should face towards the East while cooking. The water sink must be towards the north wall of the kitchen.  Cooktop and water sink don’t align in the same slab. Use the green slab in kitchen. Don’t use the black colour electronic items in kitchen. Storage cabinet should be towards the south or west direction.

   Bathroom: It is a place which we have to keep neat and clean because negativity enters from this place. This place should be in ESE, WNW, SSW direction to flush out all of negativity, anxiety, stress etc. You can keep sea salt in a bowl in the kitchen to absorb all negativity but don’t forget to keep it changing every 15-20 days. You can keep small plants in the washroom to balance the environment. Keep your washroom fragrance to smell good. If your washroom is not in a favourable direction then immediately consult an expert for a solution, it may cause major issues.

   Puja room: It is a place where you feel relief, relaxed and peace of mind. This place must be in the NE direction. Don’t keep two idols of a single god or goddesses. Keep your mandir or puja room neat and clean. If you feel some negativity in your home, you can perform a cleansing ritual at home on Tuesday or Saturday.  For example – burn cloves and Kapoor together spread the dhooni in every corner of the home. It will help you in reducing negativity. There are many cleansing rituals you can perform also. Puja room wall should not be shared with the kitchen or washroom.

   Study room: You should always take care of the study room because your children do study and focus on their career at this place. The colour of this room should be light, avoid dark colours, best to use beige or off white shades. Furniture of this room should be of regular shape and of natural wooden color. The back of the study chair should be a strong wall to avoid the window or glass door. Place a notice board in front of the table or paste a pic or image of the role model of your child whom he or she wants to be after they are grown up.

These are some tips which you can follow in your daily life routine to have a healthy and happy environment. But if you feel any major issues in your place then you should consult with an expert on an urgent basis.
